This was Mike's first ever professionally recorded CD. It was recorded at MadHat Studios in Wolverhampton, England and engineered by Mark V.Stuart. It was recorded using the original midi tracks and mixed in one day. There was no time to do the vocal tracks so it was left as a solo instrumental guitar production.
THE BLUE ROOM (2002) PERSONAL COLLECTION
Mike's home studio setup wasn't the best place in the world to record but it was the only affordable option for his second CD. All the recordings to date where recording using a Fender 'STRAT' which was Mike's only guitar that he bought from new in SA in 1980/1 through a Behringer V-amp Pro amp simulator.
WITH THESE HANDS (2003) PERSONAL COLLECTION
The last CD in the demo collection was recorded in Mike's home studio. As part of the internet Guitarist Collective, guitarists Bill Jehle(USA), Adrian Clark(UK) and Dave Wilson(UK) contributed to the making of this CD. This CD has never been sold & only serves as a memory of times with some special friends.
VASELINE RATS (2004) DEMO
An advert in a local newspaper saw Mike team up with bass player Pete MZ Emms in 2003. They formed a band and named it after one of Pete's old bands, Pauly Tsarion joined them on drums and together they funded the recording of these demo tracks at MadHat studios.
DANTE FOX (2005) BREAKING ME DOWN
Recording at M2 studios (Madhat Studios) with the 2005 line-up of Dante Fox which included Alan Mills(bass), Mick Hales(drums),Tim Manford(guitar), Sue Willets(vocals) and Mike(guitar) - the band all contributed to the cost of making this the first track destined for the band's Under the Seven Skies CD.
VASELINE RATS (2006) EP
Pete MZ Emms wrote a few more tunes and Mike together with drummer Alex Reynolds helped a great song writer get them down at MadHat studios in Nov.2006. Mike used his trusty Fender 'STRAT' aided with Pete's Gibson Les Paul for some of the rhythm parts. ..an a Springbok Rugby jersey for luck. (Samples courtsey P.Emms)

Recording with legends of classic British Rock/Metal is an honour and a privilage for any musician. Mike has worked tirelessly for many years to achieve this goal.
